This is the testimony of Osman Rusi, a resident of Shijak, whose house was destroyed by the devastating November 26 2019 earthquake, featured in a video published by PM Edi Rama.

“Nothing is impossible when the power of our Albanian passion for Albania is at play,” Rama said.

In his testimony, the resident of Shijak Rusi said that all of Albania knows what November 26 was like for us. I have been supported from the onset of the disaster with the municipality staff assisting with everything we needed. I am very satisfied with the work they are doing.”

After the reconstruction of the house, Rusi whose heart was pounding with excitement, said that “the house was built back stronger and better than the previous one and was completed in record time. I am very satisfied, they worked hard for me, the house is 2 + 1, my family consists of four members. We lived in bad conditions before, I did not think it would be built back the way it is now.”

A few days ago, Prime Minister Rama said that ” 4500 individual houses will be completed by the end of this year and 12 thousand apartments in the first half of 2022.”
