Prime Minister Edi Rama shared pictures of this agrotourism enterprise in the social media, inviting citizens to visit it.

“”Baresha”, a unique space of tradition that welcomes tourists from all over the world in Reç of the Malësia e Madhe “, wrote Rama.

“Baresha” is located about 45 minutes away from Shkodra. There are prepared and served the traditional dishes of the area, but also of Albanian cuisine. All products are obtained from the local residents living in the surrounding area. In addition to Albanian citizens, “Baresha” has become a favorite spot for foreign tourists visiting the north of the country.

The tourist potential of rural areas creates very good opportunities for the establishment of agro-tourism enterprises, which have become the preferred destination for local and foreign tourists in every season of the year.

Agrotourism has already become an engine of economic development for the remote agricultural and livestock areas and the government has oriented the promotion and incentive policies according to the demand and needs of rural entrepreneurs./k.s/p.s./

TIRANA, June 16 /ATA/ “Shporta e Reçit” is an agro-tourism farm built in the area of Reç, Malësia e Madhe, in the north of the country. It is already available in the application “AgroTime AL” and is a pleasant and attractive stop for all those who want to explore the northern area of Albania.

The restaurant is located near the Chestnut Forest with an area of about 400 ha and has a menu with typical products of the Malësia area, where mainly meat products predominate.

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milva Ekonomi stopped today at this guesthouse where she explained the opportunities offered by agro-tourism farms for visitors and tourists, while it has received support from the National Scheme to develop its activity.

“From there, you can visit many tourist facilities, such as: Ballexa Castle, Pëllumbas Cave, Sheu i Rrjollit, the old Church of Prelnikaj, Old Wells (Krenxa) etc. The restaurant uses local products and it is visitable during the season of processing chestnuts and medicinal plants “- said Ekonomi.

Likewise, noted Ekonomi, the restaurant has in the vicinity the dairy of the village, from where it gets all the dairy it needs.

This farm employs 60-70 inhabitants. During the conversation with Armando, the administrator of the farm, the minister was informed that in it, tourists can visit the dairy and see all the dairy products and by-products obtained from it.

To promote agro-tourism as one of the main directions of rural development, and the revitalization of rural mountainous areas by migration, the government provides financial support, while reducing VAT to 6%, for anyone who builds agro inns.

Also through funding programs such as the National Scheme and the IPARD program, the government gives 5 thousand euros to anyone who returns from emigration and opens the old house of a grandfather or father, to turn it into a guesthouse, to build an agro-tourism with area products. /j.p/p.s./
