Rama wrote in the social media that, “Peace and cooperation are key for the future we owe to our kids in this region devastated for ages from lack of peace and cooperation.”

“I welcome the consent of the two sides for the Agreement on the Path to Normalization between Kosovo and Serbia. This is an important milestone for regional peace and I strongly encourage all parties involved to continue working on a swift implementation”, wrote Rama.

The prime minister emphasized that on peace and cooperation Albania is and will remain a firm believer and a role model.

“We fully support every effort to overcome the past”, added Rama.

“I hope that no one points at Albin Kurti accusing him of betrayal or oblivion, but that everyone understands that the current prime minister of Kosovo has done the right thing, taking a very important first step towards getting out of yesterday’s trap.
