“Accompanying and showing respect for the tourists, he represents hundreds of his colleagues in all the Protected Areas of the country, the rangers who have made life in harmony with nature into a leitmotif as many of them are fighting, striving to put out the wildfires of the recent days”, wrote Rama in the social media.

Back from the States 6 years ago, Erindi tells how he decided to join the National Agency of Protected Areas Kukës team, in the difficult, but also great mission of protecting and managing the protected areas.

“You can find me every day in the National Park of the Albanian Alps. Thanks to their greatness, I learn something new and learn the secrets of nature. Everyone asks me if there are many difficulties in the profession I have chosen. And I answer that every day there are challenges and surprises”, he said.

According to Erind, “It is a challenge to take care of nature, fires, wild life, and different situations”.

“It is a challenge to meet the expectations of the visitors. Today, on World Rangers Day, I invite young people to join the respective university studies or jobs in the National Agency of Protected Areas”, he said. /m.m/p.s./
