In a speech thanking Albanian citizens after winning the parliamentary elections on May 11, Rama stated that “this victory is not at all unbelievable, not even for me, who has sought it every day for the past four years since the moment I stepped down from the podium on the evening of the previous victory. Nor is it unbelievable for all those who, starting from many here, beginning with the political leaders of the districts who worked very hard with me for four consecutive years to bring home the historic result of May 11.”

Rama remarked, “Only time will reveal whether this confrontation with our persistent and irredeemable rivals marks the ultimate reckoning with our challenging past, as we find ourselves in a position to reshape history forever.”

Prime Minister Rama emphasized that his party is at a decisive moment, both in shaping Albania’s leadership for the next four years and in advancing the country’s EU membership goal by 2030. He presented his party as the strongest force to seize this opportunity, aligning with Albanians’ vision of integration and equal recognition within the European Union.
