TIRANA, March 27 /ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ Prime Minister Edi Rama inspected on Saturday the new water supply system of the city of Kruja where after operations on a rough terrain at an altitude of 1630 meters, from today 8 new water sources will regularly supply all families in the city.

“The Democratic Party has included on its program the water supply system of Kruja. They were asleep while the water supply system was being built, so don’t wake them up,” Prime Minister said, satirizing the DP program.

“Potable water of Kruja, 24 hours! Cheers! ”PM Rama said to the residents, raising a bottle of water from the new Kruja water supply system.

“We have just completed the investment in Kruja’s water supply system. Two days ago we received the quality certification after the laboratory testing. The water is up to the standards and this investment is very important for the city of Kruja. Promised for many years by DP, but delivered by us. These days, during the campaign, I heard that they will build a water supply system in the city of Kruja. The work is up to the standards after the operations carried out on rough terrain, ” the Mayor of Kruja, Artur Bushi, said.

The same for tourism program, Rama said, they promised to scrap the VAT, which has been already slashed to 6% rate 6 years ago.”

The construction of new water supply system in Kruja will provide uninterrupted supply of drinking water for 17,500 inhabitants, but at the same time will eliminate water losses and pollution in the system. The project also envisages to cover the Sarisaltik area with water supply.
