Rama introduced the SP candidate in Rrogozhina, the current mayor, Edison Memolla, adding that everyone can witness the change in this municipality.

“At the beginning of our joint effort, there were some warehouses, garbage scattered all around, bushes, and the whole city was under invested. No commitment, investment, care. Today the reality in Rrogozhina has changed beyond recognition because two factors have come together, the vote for the mayor and the vote for the government. The mayor intends to work, implement projects, seek funding and receive as much support as possible from the government, and the government intends to deliver as much as possible together with the mayor to the benefit of the citizens,” he said.

This, according to him, happens when people vote with their minds and not with fandom.

“Voting with your mind means separating fandom from interest. “Voting with a fandom means kicking the interest, as the vote is not a ticket to go to the stadium”, said Rama.

At a media briefing after casting the ballot at the polling station in Surrel’s “Ymer Lala” school, Prime Minister Rama said that “today is a very beautiful day, full of sunshine. Today is the day for us not to harbor any negative feelings towards anyone who expresses a different opinion with his vote.”

“We should never forget that we are a big family in the same homeland and on the other hand, let no one forget that democracy is a sport without spectators and everyone must take the field and shoot with vote. So go onto the field to kick your penalty and in the end may the best win!”, – said Rama.
