“We will build the fishing port, the cargo port and the passengers’ arrival terminal at the Triport area, whereas the current port will be transformed into a tourist port, which would take local economy to a whole new level,” PM Rama said in his remarks.

The government head said that the new tourist port will attract wealthy tourists, who would spend a lot taking the service prices to next level for foreign visitors.

“An increase in price level for foreign nationals, who would visit the area, would automatically lead to higher salaries,” he said.

“The opposition’s program includes cancellation of the project on the new Vlora tourist port. They always like to destroy, block and hamper progress and they don’t know to build things,” Rama said.
