In a media statement after the meeting of the Assembly of Vlora’s Socialist Party branch in “Petro Marko” theatre, Rama said that this meeting is held on the heels of an important battle that we won here in the district of Vlora by reaching the target, but also to tell everyone that although I formally chose to be the MP of Durrës and pay special attention to Durrës through my presence as deputy, I will continue to be in Vlora as much as before and will do even more because it is not the mandate of deputy that binds me to Vlora or that separates me from Vlora.

“Secondly, it is very important that we keep working intensively here in Vlora as well as in the whole region and throughout Albania, but here we face many challenges related to sizeable projects as well as to small administration. Regarding the small administration, I am really concerned not only about Vlora, but in general about the municipalities that have extra obligations and that are linked with the tourism industry. We talked about these issues either,” Rama said.
