TIRANA, April 12 /ATA/ During his visit to Germany, Prime Minister Edi Rama also visited the premises of Factory Berlin.
“Ready to bring Factory Berlin to Tirana, the largest European network of Startups, innovation, digital education, art, techno music, which numbers thousands of members who interact with businesses and talents from around the world, from Google and “Uber to the research centers of Siemens, Audi and Deutsche Bank and SoundCloud and others,” PM said.

Rama visited premises of FACTORY BERLIN, where the representative said that there are about 900 to 1000 thousand people, who work until late hours.

“We are the ones who build the bridge between our co-organization and the start-up system here in Berlin. In fact, there are advantages because we try to put these advantages together,” said a representative of Factory Berlin.

“We build facilities and one can live or work there. So it’s just like here, a space to work together, but it’s also a space where we live together. So everyone has access to less space to live and work, but there are communal spaces where you can meet. It is more efficient, it is a more sustainable way of life and it is more interconnected. Living as a community and functions well so far,” said another representative.

“Founding companies such as Bosch, Porsche, Trivago, etc., are the founding partners of Factory Berlin and they provide projects for the University and students try to find solutions by developing software products,” said a Factory Berlin representative, who showed the Prime Minister around company premises.

Representatives of Factory Berlin gifted to Prime Minister Rama a painting by artist Denis Cook, which shows the connection between Berlin and Albania.
“This is Factory Berlin and we have been invited by our friends who are the founders and leaders of this extraordinary reality of new ideas, experiments, education to absorb young people into the new world of technology and to create the conditions for them to go about their life based on their innovative products. And we are here because in the meantime we are working to have a Factory Berlin Albania and these are the friends who will make this possible for us “, said Rama.
