Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a post on social media, has published photos from the arrival of tourists from Great Britain aboard the “Monet” cruise ship. Rama emphasizes that tourists will also visit Tirana and Kruja in addition to Durrës sites.

“This Sunday we welcomed the first visitors, which also formalizes the kickoff of this tourist season with cruises. About 50 British tourists aboard the “Monet” cruise ship have arrived this morning to visit the coastal city of Durrës as well as the tourist sites of Tirana, Kruja and the surrounding areas,” Rama concluded.

These first months of the year saw a growing influx of tourists, while last year Albania welcomed more than 10 million foreign tourists.
