Rama first visited “Lekli,” a pharmaceutical company specializing in the production of medical products for human use.
Luan Lekli, the company’s administrator and founder, gave an overview on the investments made within the company, with a particular focus on technology.

“It is a German investment, with German technology. What sets it apart from others is that it is the only one in the Balkans designed to produce, using modern technology, personalized medicines for individual patients on an industrial scale,” said Lekli.

“At the same time, the entire production process and laboratories include a development aspect. Looking ahead, we aim to produce injections and biological medicines, which is a challenge we plan to tackle in the future,” Lekli stated.
Lekli stated that they also have signed “an agreement with the University of Medicine, where we exchange knowledge in the field of students and the scientific capacities of the University.”

The Prime Minister’s next stop was at “Segment,” a company that provides a broad range of machinery and equipment essential for various industries.
“The company has been around for over 20 years. We started as a family business after returning from abroad. All our staff are young, recruited right from school. We have 40 employees, with locations in Albania and Pristina. The minimum wage is 700 euros, placing us among the high paying jobs, and we also employ assistant mechanics,” said the company’s administrator.
