During a live televised debate, Rama said that what happened to the SMI is a degenerative process.

“SMI has no personalities. The SMI is Ilir Meta, there are 96 vacancies and Monika Kryemadhi holds the 100th place. I have nothing personal with anyone from that circle of people. The SMI is a philosophy, a system and a family tree and there is nothing else. All the rest are Autumn leaves, ” said Rama.

Asked about the inclusion on the list of SP candidates of three former members of the SMI, Lefter Koka, Nasip Naço and Alqi Bllako, Rama said that he has worked with these people. And there, Rama continued, there are still people whom he holds in high esteem.

According to him, it is not a matter of people, the problem lies with the systems, they corrupt people.

“If the system is corrupt, it is hopeless, it has fallen into decay that is irreversible. These are individuals who have joined our team because behind them are communities,” said Rama.
