In a televised interview, Rama said that these elections are of critical importance also due to the fact that we are faced with a time like no other after two subsequent shocks that hit the country, the earthquake and the pandemic, although an incredible work has been done to manage the impact of pandemic and earthquake on the post-earthquake reconstruction front.

Rama also touched on the difference between the two visions and proposals put forth by the two parties in these elections.

“Beyond the pandemic Albania enters a completely different phase in economic terms, because there are 10 billion euro projects which are either on the ground or about to be launched, or will get underway in the next two years. They will bring about a ground-breaking transformation of Albania “, said Rama.

According to Prime Minister Rama, “these projects are unlikely to move ahead if opposition takes the helm of the country, if you look at their approach, their economic and financial program, the whole structure risks collapsing.”
