TIRANA, Aug  9 /ATA/ The Lin-Pogradec road axis is considered one of the most important national arteries for tourism in the southeast of the country.

Prime Minister Edi Rama posted Tuesday on social media views from the Pogradec road, a government investment which entails  a promenade over 16 kilometers along the shore of Lake Ohrid, green on both sides, bicycle lanes and roads up to European standards.

“Good morning and especially to those who are on the way to Pogradec today,” said Rama.

Pogradec is a permanent tourist attraction where the charm of the lake, nature, culture, history, cuisine, are appealing to many local and foreign tourists all year round.

The Lin-Pogradec road, the panoramic tunnel, the clean-up of one of the most popular beaches of the city of Pogradec, the extension of the ring road, investments in the energy grid and the fantastic road of Pogradec that connects to Tushemishti, are some of the investments made in recent years by the government as part of modern projects that have revitalized the city of Pogradec, economic and social life and added a new dimension to tourism. /m.m/j.p/sm/
