TIRANA, Aug  25 /ATA/ Thursday marks the end of the pilgrimage to Mount Tomor, the holy mountain where the saint of the Prophet Muhammad’s family, Abaz Ali, rests.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared Thursday on social media photos from the holy mountain of Tomori, where the annual pilgrimage has been taking place for 5 days, with a higher number of believers partaking compared to other years.

On the part of the police structures, all measures were taken to guarantee order and public safety during the pilgrimage to Mount Tomori.

The Holy Feast of the Bektashi is organized from August 20-25 and gathers in Kulmaku Tekke pilgrims from all over Albania and beyond every year.

Thousands of pilgrims headed to Kulmaku tekke to celebrate the feast of Father Tomor under the religious rhythms of the Bektashi, regardless of the religious beliefs they belong to.

All believers and pilgrims who join this holy festival, as a sign of kindness, sacrifice a lamb for themselves and their families.
