In the meeting held on Tuesday in the Presidency of the Assembly, where he addressed the parliamentary group and the government cabinet on governance, corruption and rolled out the new national initiative for “Albania 2030”, Rama rolled out this draft resolution before the parliamentary group, emphasizing that political oppositions in the Assembly, but also outside it should not be left out of all this.

“Today we are ready to present to the parliamentary group a draft resolution of the Assembly of Albania to start the effort for inclusiveness, where it is obviously not possible to exclude the political oppositions in the Assembly, but also outside it. My call today to all those who are against us is very simple, I believe: we cannot change you, you can continue your political struggle as you think, with all the well-known arsenal that you have for years. But let’s create a space outside the zone of this war, which is off-limits to inflammatory language and quarrels that are typical of this nasty political life, a common workplace with our strategic allies EU and USA, drawing on the best local and international expertise, with all independent institutions, civil society, academia, stakeholders, to address not our irreconcilable political differences, nor our irreconcilable party interests, but the further process of the European state-making of Albania, analyzing with as much objectivity as possible all the links of this state in this new phase, as well as identifying steps that need to be taken, measures that need to be undertaken,” Rama said.
