During a televised interview, Rama said that “we have started a process of communication with them to make it clear that there should be an agreement, which is focused on safeguarding life not the opposition movement.”

“We have very carefully considered all these details that we are discussing and we will definitely put in place the framework regulating the internal life of this group in a protected territory, where Albania has offered support to protect their life and health, but not the political movement,” he said.
Meanwhile, Rama said that “we have had no communication and interaction with Iran.”

Asked if Albania feels threatened by terrorist acts from Iran, Rama said that “there are no clues indicating that we are at threat, but in all cases it is a repressive, diabolical regime and even unpredictable.”
