Rama shared on social media the video featuring the last moments of the meeting, which took 16 hours and 25 minutes.

“The marathon discussion at the beginning of the year in the government has just finished after 16 hours and 25 minutes, where we scanned every sector for the year that has just ended, debated and approved the concrete objectives of this New Year, which will be a year closer to the people, always starting from those most in need,” Rama said.

“According to my calculations, yesterday we started at 4 o’clock and finished at 8:20hrs, that’s 4 hours and 20. Today we started at 09:07hrs and the time is now 21:12 hrs, which is 12 hours and 5 minutes. Plus 4 hours and 20 minutes, which makes a total of 16 hours and 25 minutes,” said Rama.
Rama also thanked the ministers for their constructive reports.

“I thank you because you stayed, not only heroically, but also in a very active, constructive way. Happy New Year 2023 once again. May it be much better than 2022. And on the basis of 2022, we have reason to believe that we will shake things up in 2023,”Rama said.
