In the joint press conference alongside President Macron at the Elysee Palace, Prime Minister Rama appreciated the military reception ceremony at the Court of Honor of the “Les Invalides”, in Paris, while stating that it was the first time ever in the history of our diplomatic relations for a representative of the Albanian state to be received in this fashion.

“This means a lot for Albania and Albanians. Today I am really proud not of myself, but of Albania, of this friendship between Albania and France”, said Rama.

The Prime Minister emphasized that today there are many French entrepreneurs who come to Albania to invest and expand their enterprises and this is truly a revolution.

“I thank you for two things. For the vision and determination with which you have encouraged and pushed this new wave of rapprochement between the Balkan countries and the EU, putting on the table the need to couple this integration process with a rapprochement process beyond the bureaucratic paths of each country ,” Rama said.

The Prime Minister emphasized that “today we are witnessing the results for Albania and for all the countries of the Balkans, and the Growth Plan that was approved by the EP goes in this direction. A strong, united Europe that does not remain hostage to the old ways, the old conventional methods of integration”, said Rama.
