During the meeting of the Socialist Party’s parliamentary group, Rama touched on the preparation of candidate lists for the May 11 elections, emphasizing that the inclusion of political leaders in open lists creates an unequal playing field.

The same, according to Rama, applies in his case as well.

“Frankly speaking, I have never understood, nor do I understand now, why I should be in parliament as long as I hold this position. Moreover, it would be unfair if my name were included, leading to votes that could mislead people,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

Thus, in his view, individuals on the open list should participate in a truly fair competition.

Meanwhile, Rama emphasized that he has not yet fully made a decision regarding himself, as he may not even be on the list at all.
