TIRANA, Nov 10 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Thursday that the opposition has not broken ties with the Russian liquidity.

In a media statement, after the meeting of the SP leadership, from the headquarters of this party, Rama said that the opposition must explain why it has accepted the Russian cash to overthrow the government of Albania.

“Today is the day to answer a question, why Russian cash was thrown in Albania, at a political party to overthrow the government, at an opposition party to overthrow the government of this country. And the government of this country should be more important than Russian money”, Rama said.

Asked about the Saturday protest called by the opposition, Rama said that he felt sorry for those who are still following it.

“We don’t have a minute to waste with the protest of those who have received half a million dollars to stage protests of this nature in the past. Only time will tell whether their ties with Russian liquidity haven been cut or not. Sorry for all those who are following them”, declared Rama.
