TIRANA, Nov 26 /ATA/- By Maela Marini/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Friday that different opinions with regard to the ‘Open Balkan’ do not put obstacles in the way of Albania and Kosovo strengthening their relations.

At the joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, Prime Minister Rama said that “the opinion of Albania, the opinion of this government and my opinion regarding Kosovo and Serbia, is neither secret nor unknown, but it is the same opinion I have stated from the very the beginning, even in the heart of Belgrade, has not changed.”

Meanwhile, regarding the “Open Balkan,” Rama said that we have two different approaches, attitudes or opinions.

But on the other hand, he added, “everyone should come to terms with the fact that we may not think the same about all things, but that does not prevent us from joining our efforts to do the right things in view of the future of our two countries. ”

“I think that these different opinions in relation to the ‘Open Balkans’ do not put any obstacles in the way of our relations. And if you allow me to refer to the two-headed eagle, it is a single body where one head looks from one side and the other head looks from the other side, but the body stands upright, which means that the eagle is visually informed in 360 degrees. Do not have any doubt that the two-headed eagle is at risk of being caught off guard as it checks anything over, ” said Rama.

The Prime Minister expressed his optimism about the development of relations between the two countries, the strategic point of view, but also the joint commitment in terms of relations between the two countries.
