Rama said that the public works that we have kicked off, be them foreign investment packages, local, private and public investments, will take shape very soon to propel Albania into development.

“A lot of people wonder what these 4 airports are needed for, they are many for a small country like ours, but this is completely pointless. Croatia with a population of 4 million inhabitants has 9 airports,” said Rama.

Also, Prime Minister spoke about investments in new ports which, according to him, are the largest investments in this sector. “Only the port of Durres has an investment value of 2 billion euros. Other investments include the port of Vlora, the port of Saranda is well underway, an investment in the port of Shengjin is to get started soon, ” Rama said.

The Prime Minister said that “this is a whole modern infrastructure that will benefit all Albanians.”
“It is a modern infrastructure that spurs the economy, boosts employment and creates better paying jobs,” Rama said.

Meanwhile, Rama said that although we are not out of the pandemic tunnel yet, the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight, but in parallel with the mass vaccination we must continue to maintain social distancing.
