The meeting is part of the dialogue tour with the diaspora and comes in the wake of granting voting rights to all Albanians living abroad.

Prime Minister Rama shared on social media the announcement about this meeting, which will take place on Sunday, November 3, at 11:00 AM in Thessaloniki.

“Day after tomorrow, I will return with a special pleasure to the Albanians of Greece, this time in Thessaloniki, where history has connected us in multiple aspects and today we are bound more than ever with our southern neighbours, as two European peoples that in just a few years will stand side by side in the European Union,” said Rama.

Prime Minister Rama launched the dialogue tour with the diaspora on May 12, 2024, in Athens, followed by a stop in Milan, Italy, on May 26, which are two countries with the highest number of Albanian emigrants.

On October 26, Prime Minister Rama also held a meeting in New York with Albanians in America, where he sought their support in the upcoming elections to continue the work towards the mission of making Albania a member state of the EU.
