Prime Minister Edi Rama stated in a social media post that Gjirokastra is not just one of the attractions on Albania’s list of tourist sites, but a destination at the heart of unique travel experiences.
“A voyage through time, where every step on the cobblestone streets and among the stone-built landmarks immerses you in a vibrant world of culture, artistic expression, craftsmanship, and exquisite cuisine—portrayed as the enchanting stone city by the esteemed travel magazine ‘Islands’,” stated Rama, referencing the prestigious publication.
