TIRANA, March  7 /ATA/ / Prime Minister Edi Rama is on Tuesday on an official visit to Berlin, Germany, in framework of Albania’s hosting role in the Berlin Process for the Western Balkans, a role which it assumed at the Berlin Process Summit on November 3, 2022.

During the visit, Rama will hold a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, at the Federal Chancellery, with a focus on coordination in the framework of Albania’s chairmanship of the Berlin Process, which will be followed by a meeting between the two delegations that will discuss, among others, bilateral cooperation in the field of economy and foreign policy, as well as the process of Albania’s EU accession.

The meeting between them will be followed by a joint press conference.

Prime Minister Rama will also meet with senior representatives of German business, where he will discuss Albania’s perspective in the framework of regional tourism development, as well as the cooperative role of Germany in this direction, through investments in this sector, as well as tourists.

Prime Minister Edi Rama will also visit the International Tourism Fair, which welcomes around 10,000 exhibitors every year from more than 180 countries and regions, Albania included.
