Prime Minister Edi Rama shared Wednesday on social media highlights from the visit of the Minister of State for Service Standards, Milva Ekonomi, who distributed gifts on the occasion of year-end holidays to the children of two families in Sukth, Durrës.

“With lots of gifts, we brought the joy of year-end holidays to the Rusi and Gjoka families, which are supported by the state with the increased economic assistance,” Rama writes.

The government has increased by 10% the amount of benefits for all families eligible for economic assistance.
Also, the benefit has increased twofold for women heads of families with two children, who are beneficiaries of economic assistance, and for people over 65 years old, who live alone and do not receive pensions or social pensions.
