The Prime Minister expressed his respect for all Albanians who live and work abroad, while sharing on social media a video of emigrants returning to their homeland.

“With humility and respect for all Albanians who live and work abroad, but also with gratitude and admiration for many others who have returned to their homeland to invest the knowledge gained together with the savings in emigration, becoming inspiring examples of moral and financial success for those who are still abroad, I wish you all a lovely Sunday,” he said.

Through the video, the prime minister brought to attention examples of success of Albanians who have left emigration to return to Albania.

Stefani Spiri, a musician who has finished her higher studies in the USA, has already decided to develop her artistic activities in Albania.

Another young man returned from emigration to invest in his homeland is Bajram Nikolli. He immigrated to Italy at the age of 15, studied and worked there and invested his savings in Albania even though he has an Italian passport.

Ferdinand Allkanjari, farmer, has returned to his hometown since 2005 and has invested in 0,4 ha of greenhouses where he grows vegetables.
