Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Friday that discussions are ongoing in the schools of Tirana, Shkodra, Lezha, Mamurras, Malësi e Madhe, Has, Vau i Dejës, Kurbin, Berat, Dimal, Polican, Belsh, Cerrik, Librazhdi, Peqin, Perrenjas, Gramsh, Tepelena, Permet, and Vlora.
Rama said today that so far, 394 meetings have been held with the participation of 14,000 parents in various schools across the country, as part of discussions focused on restriction of the social media, primarily TikTok.
Earlier today, Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, emphasized that during the discussions, parents are contributing ideas and suggestions to address the challenges posed by technology.

Minister Manastirliu has emphasized during recent meetings the importance of cooperation between institutions, schools, and parents to ensure a safe cyber space for young people and to build a strong culture of awareness and security. She highlighted the consultation tour initiated by the Ministry of Education and Sports (MAS) with parent communities across Albania.
