“Good morning on this blessed day of peace, rest, reflection and hope,” said Prime Minister Rama, while sharing a video featuring the challenge of coping with the November 2019 earthquake.

Prime Minister recalled the work done under the Reconstruction Program, thanks to which thousands of families benefit new modern homes for free.

The video footage features images from the tragic moments of the devastating November 26, 2019 earthquake, search-and-rescue operations in the ruins, the bold efforts to provide temporary accommodation for the injured residents, to the reconstruction of new neighborhoods which consist of individual housing units and apartment buildings that have begun to be delivered to the residents.

The Reconstruction Program continues apace until the last family affected by the earthquake will move into its new home.. /m.m/
