In a conversation with representatives of small business in Durrës, Rama stressed the fact that the government has taken a measure that no one else has done, subsidizing it from the state budget, so that household consumers and small businesses are not hit by the shock of the soaring energy prices.

Specifically, Rama showed the electricity bill that a small business pays. “In January, this entity paid 239 thousand ALL, while if it were charged the real price, this business would pay 628 thousand ALL. The difference of almost 400 thousand ALL is paid from the state budget, ” said Rama.

The Prime Minister expressed his conviction that if this business were faced with the alternative of paying the real price of energy, or of paying the price of oil today, it would choose the latter.
On the other hand, Rama said that if the business paid an extra 400 thousand ALL for energy, it would fire a person.

“There are not a few but there are 95 thousand businesses. This means that we would have 95 thousand unemployed within a month due to a bill, just for what? “To scrap the fuel tax for those who come out and yell,” said Rama.
