“Meeting with Josep Borrell, EU chief diplomat and mediator of Kosovo-Serbia talks, with whom I talked about the upcoming summit between the EU and the Western Balkans which is due next week, the situation in the region, as well as the conflict started by Bulgaria with North Macedonia, which is holding Albania back, ” Rama said about the meeting.

For his part, the EU High Representative shared a photo of the meeting with PM Edi Rama.

“ Met Prime Minister Edi Rama at the WPC 2021. We discussed enlargement, the upcoming Western Balkans Summit and the need for concrete results. Important to keep both the reform momentum of the region as well as credibility of the EU,” Borrell said.
