TIRANA, June 2 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today in a post in the social media that today at 20:00 on “Rai 3 Report”, he will tell his truth on the report broadcasted a few weeks ago on Rai 3.

“RAI3 Report” put on air a report a few weeks ago during which it confused and mixed the products of the Italian political quarrel over Italy-Albania agreement on the reception center for three thousand immigrants in Shengjin with the sludge exported from the political and media sewage channels of Tirana distorting the image of Albania and the dignity of Albanians. We are aware of the arguments that followed and became headlines of the Italian media after me opposing the scum”, writes Rama.

“Director of the “Report” program responded positively to my public invitation addressed to him personally, to confront the facts in the eyes of the RAI3 audience. We agreed that, apart from the bits and pieces of the interview done in my office, which they would edit and add to their script (with the easily legible aim of continuing to mix in the same cauldron of Italian politics the scum exported from Tirana) the uncensored interview will be put on air in full at the same time on Report’s social networks, as well as here on this page.

“Tonight, watch, listen and judge for yourself, I am not making any comments. We will talk tomorrow, we are here again”, continued Rama.

“Be careful, I’m talking about Giorgio, the journalist in the photo, not Giorgia, the main target of “RAI3 Report”, Rama concluded his post. /a.f/r.e/p.s./

TIRANA, May 4/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke today about the report broadcasted by the “RAI 3”, emphasizing that this report would not have gone on air a few years ago when it was necessary to confirm things.

In the “Flasim” (Let’s Talk) podcast, the prime minister’s guest to discuss media freedom was the opinion-maker Blendi Fevziu.

Speaking on the classic principles of journalism where the news should get confirmed by all sources, the prime minister stated that, “Today, there is such a high speed of providing information that what is news in the morning becomes history at dinner and there is no time to confirm”.

The prime minister pointed at “RAI 3” report as an example, emphasizing that, “It would not have happened in the past that a report was on air without any confirmation of the things said”.

“What happened would not have happened a few years ago. Making a show and don’t ask the persons mentioned for their version, i.e. without confirmation… In fact, there were not only things referred to, but they were all things taken from here”, said Rama.

According to him, “The moment you receive from one source a piece of news or a set of facts that are problematic and you don’t even confirm them, then you deal a blow to the victim; this would not have happened before”.

“The culminating point was the denial of the fact; in the meantime they had received the answers they had asked for, but had failed to use them”, said Rama, adding that this was an abuse and they cannot claim that they didn’t get any answer.

The prime minister emphasized that, “Here there is the need for an audience, the need to attract as much attention as possible and to feed the public with as many events and interpretations as possible, which put the public no longer in a boring relationship with the truth, but a very attractive relationship with the lie, fiction, conspiracy. It has become a world spectacle”, he added./p.s./

General Director of the RTSH Enkelejd Joti and the delegated RAI Com Administrator Angelo Teodoli signed the agreement that foresees the broadcasting throughout the national territory in Albania of 24 programs, television series, documentaries and films produced by RAI.

During the press conference on occasion of signing of the agreement, the ambassador of Italy in Tirana Fabrizio Bucci, Director of international relations and European affairs at RAI Simona Martorelli, Deputy General Director of RTSH Redi Neziri were present.

Simona Martorelli said that this agreement will make us live together not only history, but also the future, through our broadcasters. According to her, RAI can play the role of catalyst to propose new initiatives. “Thanks to the cooperation with the Italian embassy, we managed to make the pieces of the mosaic together. The most important goal is to propose and share our values”, said Martorelli, who thanked the Italian embassy for the assistance offered in this cooperation, which will open a window on the Italian culture and language to the Albanian spectators, a window which, recently, was closing down.

While the delegated Administrator of RAI Angelo Teodoli spoke in more detail about the content of the programs that the Italian side will offer. “The package will be diverse and important”, said Teodoli, who singled out programs such as visits to UNESCO sites, which have been produced with very large budgets, bringing important and quality products.

“It is important that even in the commercial part, there is integrated a product with cultural value and content”, he said.
