It has been a highly effective treatment.

The news was announced by the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, who emphasized that “the new VMAT technique is fully in line with contemporary treatment recommendations and has become possible today thanks to our investments in technology and the qualification of our skilled doctors, dr. Orges Spahiu, dr. Bianka Shima, dr. Elvisa Kozma, physicist Rozana Buci, laboratory technicians Andri Gorjani, Ernest Haklaj, Erges Muço, Ramadan Bara.”

Manastirliu emphasized that “more than 10,000 radiotherapy sessions have been offered free of charge to patients in the modern Radiotherapy Unit of Oncology Hospital in the Hospital Center.”
