Rozeta and Geraldo Vojkollari became parents to quadruplets – Roal, Alroa, Roar and Auro – after a natural pregnancy, Rama said in a post on social media.

He added that government support through the “baby bonus” scheme remains in place.

Launched in 2019 by the government and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, the baby bonus programme has benefited around 227,000 families so far.

Under the current scheme, families in Albania receive a one-time payment of 40,000 lek for their first child, 80,000 lek for the second, and 120,000 lek for the third.

A post of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in the social media read that, “The fantastic family of Rozeta and Geraldo has been blessed with quadruplets: Roal, Alrda, Roar and Auro, born through a natural pregnancy. May the babies have a long life! After a month under intensive health care, they are now ready to leave the hospital”.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its gratitude for the dedication of the white coats throughout the country, especially where life is born.

The government also provides the baby bonus since 2019. So far, about 227 thousand families have benefited the bonus for the newborns. The baby bonus is only available to families living and contributing in Albania, providing support of 40,000 lekë for the birth of the first child; 80,000 lekë for the second child, and 120,000 lekë for the birth of the third child. /j.p/p.s./
