Some areas are experiencing difficulties, while the situation in most regions has stabilized, according to a press release.

In northeastern region of Dibër, power outages have been reported in the remote rural areas and villages. Teams from power distribution operator OSHEE are working to repair the faults. Rainfall intensity in the region is decreasing.

In Sukth, Durrës, central Albania, several homes in the villages of Kullë, Hamallë, and Rrushkull have been affected, with some roads also blocked. Around 48 houses in Manzë have been affected by flood waters.

In Kurbin, interventions continue in response to rising water levels in Mamurras, where 50 homes are affected by flooding, and 12 more in the Milot district. Local authorities and the regional water and sewage directorate are working to address the situation.

Power outages have also been reported in some remote villages mostly in the country’s north and northeast.

No significant issues have been reported in other regions across Albania, including Gjirokastër, Vlorë, Fier, Elbasan, Berat, and Tirana. In Korça, work is ongoing to restore power in certain areas.

The Ministry of Defense and the National Civil Protection Agency remain in continuous monitoring and communication with local civil protection structures to implement necessary measures in case of further adverse weather conditions.
