Vata/ Prosecutor General, Olsian Çela, has asked the prosecutors from Durrës that the investigation of electoral crimes be prompt and transparent.

At a media statement, Çela encouraged all prosecution offices to investigate cases in full transparency and to inform the public on the output.

“Regarding the investigation of electoral crimes, the prosecution offices have been asked to come up with timely output. It is important that the investigation be conducted in full transparency so that the public be clear and fully informed on what the Prosecution has done. Electoral issue is on the working agenda of many prosecutions in judicial districts, therefore the result of any investigation is important,” he said.

Cela said that “it is important that the investigations be complete, are carried out promptly and the results are communicated to the public. We have addressed the prosecutions of the judicial districts several times, they have been offered the support to conduct full and professional investigations into the elections. ” /a.a/sm/
