The High Prosecution Council held on Tuesday the next plenary meeting through the online platform. The meeting was held in the presence of all members as well as representatives of the Ministry of Justice and assistance programs for the implementation of justice reform, EURALIUS and OPDAT.

According to the agenda, the Council decided by a majority of votes for the temporary appointment of Lazër Çardaku as Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecution office at the Court of First Instance, Shkodra.

At the proposal of Sander Beci and with the approval of all members, the HPC added to the agenda the designation by lot of two rapporteurs by the members of the Career Development Commission to start the procedure for promotion to Chief Prosecutor of candidates who have passed verification process. After the lot, Moisi Duda was designated rapporteur for the vacant position of chief prosecutor in the Prosecution office at Tirana’s Court of Appeals and Vata Staka as rapporteur for the vacant position of chief prosecutor of the Prosecution office at Durres’ First Instance Court.
