Gonxhja shared on social media images of the school premises, adding that “the school’s programs are based on the model and profile of the Austrian school.”

According to him, the profile of schooling is one of the most sought after, enrolling students who have finished with good and very good grades in 9-year schools.

To ensure quality, priority is given to knowledge in mathematics as well as proficiency in foreign languages English and German. For the teaching of English and German (as a second language) the curricula of the high school, already consolidated are used.

Gonxhja noted that the ICT school “Hermann Gmeiner”, is located in a quiet and green area, offering also very good and suitable premises for the learning and educational process.

Minister Gonxhja stressed that qualifications as well as professional and pedagogical competences of teachers are crucial for the quality of the school’s vocational education service.

“The school staff is selected carefully, they attend initial but also continuous training to be kept up to speed in the field of ICT. Open classes are constantly organized, concluding with analysis of teaching and feedback for further improvements” said Gonxhaj.
