He conveyed his deep appreciation to all members of the State Police for their steadfast dedication, commitment, and daily sacrifices, often placing the safety and well-being of others above that of their own families.

Proda stated, “The year we are leaving behind has not been easy; it has been challenging, a year of great responsibilities and sacrifices that have brought us closer to one another, to the citizens, and to our partners. It has strengthened us and clarified how we must conduct ourselves and what we must do to be worthy of our mission.”

“It is with deep heartfelt respect that I convey my greetings to the families of the Police martyrs, who may have one fewer at their table, yet in the history of our nation, one more hero,” Proda expressed.

He also conveyed his sincere thanks and greetings to the citizens for their important role, noting that through their trust and cooperation, they have reinforced their position as key allies of the Police. “To journalists and the media, for their crucial role in informing the public and enhancing transparency; and to our national and international partners, whose collaboration has been a synergy of capacities, investments, commitment, and professionalism, all in service of ensuring security,” Proda continued.

Proda highlighted that the State Police are fully prepared nationwide to guarantee a safe and orderly turn of the year.

He concluded by wishing a Happy New Year, filled with health, peace, and prosperity.

“Together, with responsibility and trust, we will strive throughout 2026 to make our country even safer,” he affirmed.
