Touching on the pediatric primary care services, Minister Manastirliu said that, Albanian government will pay special attention to investments in children’s health, in order to improve services in primary care, maternity and pediatrics.

“In September, the new pediatric ward at the Saranda hospital will be put into operation, which coincides with the investments being made to improve services to children,”Minister Manastirliu said.

Another investment is being made in building a new the modern laboratory in Saranda hospital, which is expected to transform this service.

In the light of the modernization of the network of laboratories in public hospitals, the Municipal Hospital of Saranda will have a new laboratory equipped with modern equipment.

The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Manastirliu stressed the attention of the Albanian government to strengthen the services of hospitals in coastal areas, through investments in infrastructure, modern medical equipment and young specialist doctors aimed at tourism development. //a.i/
