Blushi emphasized that, “it took 2 years for SPAK to request the termination of criminal proceedings against the person under investigation, Mr. Ardian Dvorani and the former Minister of Justice and her subordinates. ”

Blushi underlined that, “today’s decision of the Judge of the Preliminary Session, who approved this request of the Prosecution to drop the legal action initiated 2 years ago after the charges pressed by President of the Republic is unacceptable and will be appealed in accordance with procedural rules and timelines set out in the Code of Criminal Procedure. ”

“Anyone who has committed criminal offenses and abused public office, whether a former member of the High Court, former Minister of Justice, or other senior official will be held accountable,” said Blushi.
