MEFA informs that according to the information so far, there are no reports of injured Albanian citizens.
The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, in a post on social media account, said that Albania stands in solidarity with our Czech friends in the face of adversity.

“Deeply saddened by the tragic shooting in Prague today, which resulted in the loss of several innocent lives. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the affected families and wish the injured a speedy recovery,” Minister Hasani writes.

Prime Minister Rama underlined that “Albania strongly condemns the deadly violence and stands by its Czech friends in this difficult time.”

Rama said that “the outrageous attack at Charles University in Prague has shocked us all.”

“My condolences go to the families of the victims,” said the Prime Minister.

Several people were killed and dozens injured in Thursday’s shooting at the University of Prague.
