“We firmly believe that human dignity is the value of all values, for which we are ready to make any sacrifice and pay any price to ensure that every Albanian is treated with dignity. We solemnly declare that within the first 100 days in Albania, there will be zero extreme poverty,” said Berisha, adding that no pension will be less than 200 euros per month.

Berisha said that the “DP – Alliance for a Great Albania” program will ensure that the minimum wage reaches 500 euros within three months.

“Pensioners will pay 20 percent less for their food compared to others. The full VAT on their purchases will be refunded, totaling 450 euros annually, which is equivalent to two or three pensions, or roughly one minimum wage,” he said.
