Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu visited this laboratory where children with special needs develop their skills.

Manastirliu said that, “At the resource center for deaf children, where there has been opened for the first time the pottery and ceramics Art Lab, a new space, where passion and handwork become part of the daily life of children with special needs”.

“In the new ArtLab, the children learn how to model clay in different forms, guided by teachers who patiently and lovingly help them discover their talents and show their skills through art”, emphasized Manastriliu, adding that this lab at the school level is unique.

Minister Manastirliu stated that, “ArtLab, established in partnership between our resource center and the “Beyond Barriers” organization, is a model that we want to extend to other schools”.

She underlined that, “This special school has three programs that we are developing in all schools, which are greenhouse, arts, crafts and animal farm”.

“Of course, these students deserve the best, all our students deserve the best and the opportunities and equal chances that we must provide should not stop here, but should be developed even further”, said Manastirliu.

Minister Manastirliu announced that for the first time these students will participate in the school-leaving exams and the path to university is opened for them./k.s/ /a.g/p.s./
