At a joint press conference in Pristina alongside Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Rama described the project of new Durres port and the Dry Port of Pristina as an ambitious strategic project between the two governments.

Rama said that this project not only transforms beyond recognition the entire infrastructure of trade development between the two countries, but also spurs the economy of the two countries.

“This project is the result of a very detailed work and today we have jointly signed the financing of the feasibility study before moving on to the design of the Durrës-Pristina railway,” said Rama.

“It is not an overstatement to say that after each joint meeting we get a little closer to the major goal of the Strategic Partnership Document between our two countries signed in Prizren in 2014,” said Rama.

The Prime Minister informed that “today we agree that in the framework of the 110th anniversary of our national flag, the independence of Albania, we will organize for the first time the joint Assembly of the two Republics.”

Also, the Prime Minister added that “we have agreed that in the last period of the year the first intergovernmental magazine will be issued in order for all interested parties to see all the facts and figures of cooperation, all agreements and the level of their implementation. ”
