Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media stunning views from the salt evaporation pond of Narta in Vlora.

The summer time, especially on very hot days, is characterized by the bloom of a type of algae known as Dunaliella salina, which causes these color hues because of the high presence of Beta Carotene pigment.

The photography enthusiasts take the opportunity to take photos on their cameras or phones not only with the blue sea, but also with the salt evaporation pond.
