Speaking at a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Denmark Metter Frederiksen, whose will host the next EPC summit in n autumn 2025, the government head underlined that sixth EPC meeting brought together 54 heads of state and government of EU member states and non-EU countries, along with representatives from EU institutions, to engage in a very important, intense and open discussion about a new Europe and new world, which was the summit’s main theme.

“Today in Tirana we renewed the commitment to our continent and our citizens, to jointly preserve the guiding values and principles of our societies, to do whatever we can to defend the values and principles embodied in our societies by defending our own countries, our citizens and the future of Europe,” Rama stated.

The government head also noted that the summit explored ways to enhance investments in innovation and many other areas.

“I think today was a fruitful one. We held a series of discussion panels on various issues and interesting conclusions were drawn and which will be taken further forward during the next meeting in Denmark. We also decided to set up a coordinating team of the Political Community under the auspices of the European Council President,” Rama added.

PM Rama highlighted “the need for efforts to tap on the tremendous potential of an incredible market of 600 million people to translate this potential into positive results for our people and countries with the same mindset.”
