In his remarks, during the meeting with the spokespersons of the police in the 12 regions of the country, Minister Balla emphasized that the biggest challenge is bringing to a whole new level the cooperation and communication of the public with the State Police. He also underlined that for every event communication should be timely for the sake of transparency.

“For several weeks now, the State Police, regarding any event or incident, is the first to react and to provide the first preliminary information, based entirely on procedures while maintaining investigative secrecy, which is an extremely important element. This practice will continue to be consolidated, where not only you are the person responsible for this part of public communication, but more than that, the police directors in the regions, must understand that we will have an immediate communication for any event, to offer full transparency on every issue and not to leave room for misinterpretations and misinformation of the public,” said Balla.

Minister Balla has also emphasized that every complaint from citizens should be a priority, since the follow-up of every complaint received from them increases confidence in the State Police.
